Energy sector near bottom for month and year, but YPF has been mostly bullish for two years. It’s gone from 3.50 in Aug 2022 to 42.79 today.
News: Argentina’s LNG industry estimated at $50 billion, Shell just partnered with YPF to build LNG processing plant. YPF recently signed agreement with India to supply LNG.

CRH
Building materials at or near bottom for past 3 months, but CRH has shown steady growth since July. High-volume pullback last Monday, then 5-day pause on below-average volume. Yesterday was green inside candle, finishing near bottom, also on below-average volume.
Recent moves 5-6. Risk is 2, reward:risk is 3:1.

My daily screener (avg vol > 1m, ATR > 1, price 10 – 70, change up 1%, month up, price above sma20) returned mostly stocks which are choppy or trading in a box. None had a good entry. YPF stands out as a potential trade. I have added it to my watchlist and will wait for a good entry.
